The Senate Committee on the Environment and Public Works today is holding a briefing on the “Nuclear Plant Crisis in Japan and Implications for the United States.”

The speakers are:

  • Dr. Gregory B. Jaczko, Chairman, Nuclear Regulatory Commission
  • Mr. Anthony Pietrangelo, Sr. Vice President and Chief Nuclear Officer at the Nuclear Energy Institute
  • Dr. Edwin Lyman, Senior Scientist, Global Security Program, Union of Concerned Scientists
